Our proprietary battery cell technology is manufactured in our domestic factory in Shulin, Taiwan, with a rigorous production process. We've designed an automated production line with strategic quality control checkpoints. This video demonstrates charge and discharge testing. Each shipment undergoes more than 400 individual tests before release.

With features of high storage capacity, lithium batteries are the mainstream solution but are very chemically active, therefore spontaneous incidents often occur. In order to find a safer solution, Cold Electric has spent years on R&D. From the video on SET iNews, when a fire directly made contact with our open cell, no fire occurred, setting an unprecedented new standard of safety.

By 2030, global lithium batteries will account for more than 95% of the market share.Phil Chen, third-generation descendant of Formosa Plastics and CEO of Cold Electric, explains that the world needs 5,000 giga factories if we truly want to reach our 2030 environmental goals.

We thank the Set iNews media for featuring Cold Electric’s Shulin factory and are committed to creating sustainable and safe energy solutions for the future.
