Following the rapid emergency response during Typhoon Danas, where Cold Electric engineers deployed six off-grid storage systems overnight to restore power in disaster-hit areas, our company has drawn strong public attention and market confidence.

Led by Chairwoman Margret Wang, daughter of Formosa Plastics founder Y.C. Wang, we  have transformed from a small four-person team to a fast-growing energy storage leader. In Q1 2025, revenue reached NT$300 million, already doubling total revenue from 2024. While 90% of sales remain in Taiwan, overseas markets led by Japan now account for 10% and are expanding rapidly.

With its proprietary LFP pouch-format battery technology, Cold Electric has consistently prioritized safe and high-efficiency designs, overcoming industry challenges of performance versus fire safety.

Japan is emerging as a key market, with public-sector tenders offering attractive ~20% returns, and Cold Electric is actively exploring partnerships with local companies and the possibility of establishing production lines in Japan. Meanwhile, in the U.S., we have opened a Texas office, targeting the fast-growing residential storage segment.

By combining local innovation with global expansion, Cold Electric is positioning itself as a trusted partner for safe, scalable, and decentralised energy storage worldwide.
